12625 Fully Funded Training at The Ministry of Labour and Employment 2021

ANNOUNCEMENT OF 12,625 VOCATIONAL TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES IN THE TRANSPORT, ICT, MINING, AGRICULTURE, CONSTRUCTION, PRODUCTION, FASHION CREATION AND CLOTHING, HOTEL AND TOURISM SERVICES

  1. The Office of the Prime Minister, Policy, Parliament, Labor, Youth Employment and the Disabled is implementing a National Skills Development Program aimed at enabling the national workforce to acquire relevant job skills and competencies to compete in the job market.

The Office has entered into an agreement with 68 vocational training colleges registered with the relevant Authority to provide training in various fields including Fashion Design and Tailoring, Plumbing, Masonry, Carpentry, Welding and metalworking, Painting and markings, Manufacture of mechanical spare parts, Automotive Machinery and Mechanical, electrical
of domestic and industrial, ICT, Automotive, Hotel and Tourism Services, Mining and Metallurgy.

  1. The Office would like to announce that young Tanzanians between the ages of 15 and 35 who wish to join the training in one of the fields listed below should come to VETA Regional and District colleges as well as the colleges listed below to apply for training. .

The government will fund the tuition fee at 100%. The student / parent / guardian will cover other costs including the fare to and from home.

Training will begin on May 17, 2021 and will last for a day. The applicant is advised to apply for this training at a college located in the region where he or she lives.

  1. Centers approved by the Government to provide such training and its disciplines have been attached
  2. Applications should be submitted from 19/04/2021 to 30/04/2021 accompanied by the following documents:
    i. Training application letter;
    ii. Copy of Birth Certificate;
    iii. Copy of Certificate of Education;
    iv. Citizenship ID / voter card (For 18 years and older);
    v. Letter of identification from the Local Government / Village Government Office where the applicant resides; and
    vi. Four passport photographs (marked with three applicant names on the back).
  3. Qualifications for joining this training are:

i. Basic or advanced education in the fields of fashion design and tailoring, plumbing, construction, carpentry, welding and metalworking, painting and marking;

ii. Form Four education and the continuation of other remaining professions including mechanical spare parts manufacturing, automotive, home and industrial electronics, ICT, automotive and solar power;
iii. Be a Tanzanian;
iv. Must be between 15 – 35 years old;
v. Be healthy;

  1. Young People with Disabilities are urged to apply for these opportunities and will be given priority in this training space;
  2. Applications should be taken and submitted to colleges in your region that have been approved by the Government to provide this training.
  3. Only those who meet the criteria and qualifications will be selected
