The consultant will be expected to work closely with staff from VSO Tanzania and to some extent with RHMTs. The work will be undertaken to the KMKM supported Health facilities within Mtwara Region, working with staff and volunteers there. The outputs of the work will be adapted throughout the region, and the consultant will be expected to provide mentoring and guidance during at least the start up of the consultancy. Based on lessons learned from this experience some modification of the training materials will be required.
Skills, qualifications and experience
The consultant will be required to have the following skills and experience: Qualified MD with specialization in obstetrics/Gynaecology. Experience A minimum of 5 years work experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology -You are fully accredited -You have the ability to work with limited technical resources -You have experience in training, coaching and supervision -Fluent English proficiency -IT skills (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) Competencies and Behaviour At VSO we believe progress is only possible by working together.
