Responsibilities involved include;

  • Undertaking technical and feasibility studies and site investigations and risk management.
  • Managing, supervising and visiting sites to advice on engineering issues.
  • Overseeing junior staff and mentoring throughout the project process.
  • Communicating with colleagues, subcontractors, consultants and clients
  • Thinking creatively and logically to resolve design and project development problems.
  • Managing budgets and other project resources.
  • Review and approve project drawings, using CAD
  • Attending meetings to discuss projects issues and safety on all work assignments

Description

We are looking for committed candidate to manage and supervise our road construction projects in various regions within the country.

We require a person be accountable for company’s materials/purchases and conduct him/herself in a friendly and professional manner to fulfill all relevant paperwork and administrative requirements where applicable as a Site Supervisor/Accountant

The ideal candidate should be flexible to work in any region in Tanzania and must have worked for a construction company before.

Responsibilities involved include;

  • Liaison with company’s clients, employees and general public along the project.
  • Hire subcontractors to fulfill the various tasks associated with the project.
  • Solve conflicts as they arise and make sure everyone gets paid on time.

  • Making sure subcontractors and direct employees show up on time and keep work on schedule.

  • Ensure availability of enough site supplies and further ensure logistic for new supplies when needed.

  • Attend site meetings when necessary with the client and follow through on all site instructions provided
